In modern society, the cultural needs of citizens for library are increasingly diversified. We believe that a modern library is not only a place to store knowledge, but also an open and diversified urban living room. In terms of spatial form, we seek to establish a close connection with the city. In terms of function, we hope that the library space can accommodate various urban cultural activities, so as to build a friendly, open and diversified urban library.

The large V-shaped columns in the middle and steel beams on both sides form the interior structure of the library. the central V-shaped space creates an impressive ring atrium, while catenary lines on both sides slowly connect with the ground, forming a pleasant landscape plaza. Here, the structure is not only an efficient structural system, but also the carrier of internal space, streamline and urban environment. Form, space, functional streamline, urban environment and so on form a polysamous whole.

From a total look, the exterior of the library is like an artificial landscape, shrinking at the top and creating a natural landscape at the bottom. A valley is formed inside, and a sunken basin is formed at the bottom, creating an open and diverse reading space and public exchange place, and giving the public the spatial feeling of "mountain outside, valley inside".

Various forms of public communication spaces are set up inside the building. From the valley to the basin, from the indoor to the outdoor garden, the social nature becomes a unique attribute within the library. Knowledge is no longer locked in closed boxes on high shelves, but is open and shared with the public, who can interact with the library in different ways. The library truly becomes an open urban living room.
