Pingshan Jiangbian School is a nine-year primary and secondary school with 54 classes. Its site covers 24,700㎡with a gross floor area of 83,000㎡.

How to properly solve the contradiction between small land area and high capacity demand, and reasonably arrange building volumes of different functions are the primary problems of this project.

The design aims to create a vibrant and warm campus. Through spatial retreat and extension, and complete integration of architecture and landscape, the design creates more open space attracting students to explore. Remaining banyan trees and the building together create a living organism "growing from the inside out", creating a borderless campus.
